Meet Your Guide

Hi, I'm Steve Wages.

I’m a full‑time USCG Licensed and Insured and CPR certified fishing guide here in the Ozarks, based out of Branson, Missouri, where the trout are beautiful, the bass are feisty, the crappie are sneaky, the spoonbill will put up a fight and the weather does whatever it wants. You’ll usually find me on Lake Taneycomo, Table Rock Lake or Bullshoals Lake before sunrise. I love to fish for anything that lives in the water, trout, bass (large, small and white), walleye, crappie, spoonbill. Will even put up a fight with a gar and nothing beats a bluegill/sunfish trip frenzy.

I keep things simple: you show up ready for a good time, and I’ll handle the gear, the boat, the game plan, and the part where we actually find the fish. I’ve spent years learning these waters, watching generation schedules, and dialing in patterns so you don’t have to guess. When the bite gets tough, I’ve got enough tricks (and enough patience) to keep things fun until the rods start bending again.

My trips are laid‑back, safe, and built around your comfort level. Whether you’re brand‑new to fishing or you’ve been casting since you could walk, I’ll meet you where you’re at. Expect clear instruction, plenty of laughs, and a guide who takes the fishing seriously—but not himself.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: get you on fish, make the experience memorable, and send you home with stories you’ll want to tell long after the cooler’s empty.
